					For the first time in 44 years, professional baseball returned to Lancaster in the form of the Lancaster Barnstormers in 2005. In only five seasons, Lancaster has quickly become one of the top destinations in all of minor league baseball and the Atlantic League. The Lancaster Barnstormers are operated by Opening Day Partners, one of the premiere ownership groups in professional sports. Opening Day Partners also operates 3 other professional baseball teams within the Atlantic League.
Clipper Magazine Stadium, a 6,200-seat state-of-the-art venue, is home to the Barnstormers and is open year round. Come winter, right field turns into an ice skating rink and is the only place in Lancaster where you can skate under the stars. In addition to baseball and ice skating, Clipper Magazine Stadium plays hosts to movie nights, concerts, baseball tournaments, and other community events.
The 2009 season marked the Barnstormers 5th Anniversary, and there was much to celebrate. Since their inaugural season in 2005, the Barnstormers have welcomed more than 1.4 million fans through their gates. The Five Time Atlantic League Champion Somerset Patriots (Bridgewater, NJ), a member of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, are looking for qualified individuals to fill positions in their 2010 Season Internship Program.
Program Description: Members of the Internship Program will be exposed to all facets of a Minor League Baseball organization and will gain practical, in-depth experience from one of the positions listed below. Members will also gain valuable experience from a season long learning project that covers various aspects of sports management. Help with resumes and interviewing will also be covered. Prospective candidates will be asked to note their preferred choice of position when applying, however the Patriots will help determine a position that best suits your skills. Ideally, candidates will be juniors or seniors in college, however, freshman and sophomores are also welcome to apply. Hours are full time and include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation: $750/month and college credit can also be earned if applicable to the student.

The York Revolution is owned and operated by Opening Day Partners, LLC (ODP).
