College Credit Internship Opportunities (Spring 2010) - Southern Maryland Blue Crabs (Waldorf, MD)
Thank you for your interest in the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs Internship Program. If you’re ultimate ambition is a career in the sports and entertainment industry, this program is an excellent first step.
The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs have internships available for the Spring of 2010. They start in January and run to May 15th. Applicants with senior and junior standing will be given preference for internship positions.
DID YOU KNOW?
• Our internship program is our primary source of candidates for full-time, entry-level positions
• Nearly 50% of our interns from our first season have been selected for full-time employment, and many continue their professional growth & development within the company
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Open to COLLEGE STUDENTS ONLY; Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors, and Graduate Students
• Must demonstrate professionalism, a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a “can-do” approach
• Able to work long hours
• Some financial compensation is available
• Housing and travel are the responsibility of the student
